Childhood memories are sweet, a number of them are forgivable errors that are permissible by parents or guidance without consequences of the childhood state. Remembering some of these memories do stir some laughter especially when alone. My earliest childhood memories were bedwettings, sucking of lips, and taking food with my tongue. Virtually every child bedwets growing-up but mine was peculiar. The state of mind of a child in bed is not so different from when awake, that is what makes a child. Betwetting was it for me, and it was like a tall order challenge to surmount.
Sucking of lips is another trait that was discovered very early in me and it’s difficult to forget. People close to me were the ones pointing my attention to lip sucking but as a child it was enjoyable for me since there was nothing wrong with me, and of course it continued. Even in my adulthood especially when alone, it’s a seldom unplanned occurrence.
Taking food with my tongue was also observed by close-by people to me. This is my eating style to date, even my wife do complain but it’s not a planned style of eating. Perhaps these habits could have been stopped if they were taken serious because they were discovered very early in life, but unfortunately, it’s too late.
