What happens when a languages teacher takes up a new hobby? She becomes engrossed, obsessed and totally immersed. That's how, on a sunny day in the South of France in 2003, Lunes Bijoux was born.

Today Lunes Bijoux is no longer a hobby but a successful jewellery and art studio in the Corbières region of France. Situated in Luc sur Orbieu, halfway between the medieval city of Carcassonne and Narbonne, it's where Kylee and Andy now specialise in polymer clay and silver, and produce a stunning range of unique jewellery and art objects.

In 2006 they were awarded the prestigious “Atelier d’Art du Pays Cathare” mark in recognition of their dedication and the quality of their work.

Kylee draws her inspiration from her surroundings: the vines, hills and intense colours of the Mediterranean. Her styles and colour palette are full of impact, and draw upon the sensuality and the confidence of the wearer. “Enfin des creations qui font tourner les têtes!”

Andy received his personal hallmark for sterling and fine silver in January 2011. His earring designs are highly sought after.

Kylee was a finalist in “Stars & Métiers Languedoc Roussillon 2011”, a national competition that recognises and rewards innovative businesses. She's very proud of this magnificent achievement, considering the infancy of the business.
